About Your Day Tour

 

Tela is a charming town located on the northern Caribbean coast of Honduras. It’s known for its stunning beaches, vibrant Garifuna culture, and delicious seafood. If you’re looking for a relaxing day trip from San Pedro Sula, Tela is the perfect destination.

To get to Tela, we’ll take you on a 2‑hour road trip from San Pedro Sula. We depart early in the morning (6:00 a.m.) to make the most of your day. As you drive toward Tela, you’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery and pleasant weather along the way.

Once you arrive in Tela, head straight to the beach to start your day of relaxation. We will join a 45‑minute boat ride to Punta Sal National Park, located at the end of Tela Bay. Here, you can hike through the jungle and explore the natural beauty of the protected area. Then, we will move to Playa Cocalito, where you can go snorkeling and enjoy the beauty of the coral reef, sunbathe, or simply relax on the white‑sand beach.

We will return to the mainland around 3:00 p.m.

As the day comes to an end, take some time to relax and watch the sunset over the Caribbean Sea. It’s a breathtaking sight you won’t want to miss.​
