Excursión de un día al lago de Yojoa desde Tegucigalpa

About Your Day Tour

This full-day tour starts early morning pickup at your Tegucigalpa hotel at 6:00am, the ride 1.5 hours to the first place to stop by is Siguatepeque, here we will have a delicious typical breakfast. Later, we visit Taulabe Caves, to enjoy the natural formations inside the earth.

We can walk 300mts inside the caves at 64mts deep down. It´s a unique experience.

Later, we continue our trip to the community of Peña Blanca, here, we can practice kayak on the lake, or take a hike in a coffee farm, or just simple enjoy a nice cup of coffee. 

 

Time for lunch, traditionally people enjoy the Tilapia fried fish with plaintains, but you can enjoy other options as well.

 

After lunch, we will visit Pulhapanzak Waterfall. Here, you can take a bath in the clearwaters of the White River. If you feel adventurous, you can take a hike to the back of the fall. (optional activity for extra fee). Or if you like to fly in the air, you can take the canopy zipline tour, 4 cables crosses at front of the waterfall, (optional activity for extra fee). You can enjoy the beautiful scenery.

On our way returning back to the capital we will stop at Comayagua City, where you can have the option to enjoy a hot coffee or a cold drink, while we walk around the town.
