You'll be picked up from your hotel at 5:00am for an early start, giving you plenty of time to explore and make the most of your day. After a stop for breakfast at 7:00am, we'll visit the small and beautiful Mayan site of El Puente located in La Entrada, Copan, before heading to the main attraction.

At the Mayan Ruins of Copan, you'll explore the area with an experienced local guide who will share the history of the ruins and its significance to the Mayan World and Honduras today. Admire the intricate carvings on the beautiful structures of the city, including the Ceremonial Center, the Acropolis, the Hieroglyphic Staircase, the Ball Court, the Main Plaza, and the Residential Areas.

Afterward, you can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with a variety of delicious options to choose from (own expense). For an optional activity, visit the Macaw Mountain Bird Park to see the country's national bird, the Ara Macao or Guacamaya, and other species that have been rescued from mistreatment as pets.

Before our return to San Pedro Sula, we'll stop for a cup of coffee, which is known as one of Honduras' best coffees.
